How to View Devices Associated with Your Apple ID


Wonder how many devices are linked to your Apple account? How to manage the connected devices or see the details? Check out this post to learn the tricks.

With the recent release of iOS 10.3, you can easily view and remove every devices that are associated with your Apple IDs from the iPhone. Moreover, you can check the status of their Find My Phone and iCloud backup functions, check device info like model, version, and serial number, view and remove Apple Pay cards on the device.

To view which devices you are signed in to with your Apple ID, do the followings:

1. Launch the Settings app on your iOS device which is signed into your Apple ID.
2.Tap on the profile link (your name) at the top of the screen to open the menu.
3.Scroll down to the bottom of the Apple ID menu, and tap a device’s name from the list to view the detail information like serial number, OS version, model, etc.
4.If prompted, enter your answers to the security questions to see device details.

To remove the associated devices from your iOS device, follow the steps below:

1.Tap the device you wanna remove from the list to see the details.
2.Tap the Remove From Account link at the bottom of the screen.
3.Tap again when the message appears to make the change happen.

Also, you can use your Mac to view and remove the devices linked to your Apple ID.

1.Open this link with your browser on the Mac, and sign in to your Apple ID.
2.Scroll to the Devices section to view the devices that are linked to your account. If you cannot see any device, click View Details and answer your security questions.
3.Click on the device name to view the detail information in the account page.
4.To remove a device, click on the Remove button that appears below the device.
5.Click again when a new message appears to confirm that you want to remove it.

Note that if you are still signed in with your Apple ID on the device you just removed, it will reappear on your account page when connecting to the Internet at next time. If you want to permanently delete it from your account, don’t forget to sign out of the iCloud, iTunes, iMessage, FaceTime and Game Center apps on the target device.

To add a device again, you just need to sign back into the device with your Apple ID.
